Even een update voor mijn held. Ik liep laatst door Amsterdam en daar zag ik zijn werk ‘live on the streets’. Is toch beter dan al dat virtuele gebeuren. Maar toch even deze update virtueel. C215 Fullcolor dus…

De eerste keer dat ik het werk zag van Kazuki Takamatsu, dacht ik, mooi ‘Illustrator’ illustratie werk. Maar naar verloop van tijd, dacht ik, dat is gekkenwerk, het zal wel in een 3D-applicatie gemaakt zijn. Maar niets is minder waar, hij is echt gek. Toen ik zijn werk voor het eerst zag wist ik niet waar ik moest kijken. Is het grafische zijn beeldhouwwerken of digitaal, ‘zo strak.’ Het gebruik van hout intrigeert me, beschildert, kaal en één of ander guts techniek? ‘I Like it’. Check die man, Jason Thielke!
